In the doctrine of private law, special attention is paid to the relationship between the concepts of legal status and the legal status of an individual. These categories define the conditions for individual participation in the system of public relations, provide for the characterization of the totality of the individual's rights and obligations, and guarantees of their observance. The legal status (position) is the object of research in many scientific papers. Scientists have not expressed a single opinion in their works at different times on the issue of the essence of legal status and legal status. Some authors consider these categories in the legal relations section, while others separate them into a separate topic. It is worth noting that to this day in the Russian Federation there is no regulatory legal act that reveals the essence of these concepts. Due to the lack of a proper legislative framework, problems arise in the field of resolving relevant terminological problems.
