The article focuses on the problem of educational motivation and adaptation of 1-4 classes schoolchildren. The dynamics and dependence type of educational motivation and school adaptation of elementary grades pupils are investigated, dependence on a family psychological climate and specifics of the relations between a child and a teacher are revealed.
