Comparison of phraseological picture of the world in Russian and German by example of dialectical modeling of the thematic group «External attractiveness, power, health - stupidity, dullness»

The comparative analysis of German and Russian idioms and sayings of the thematic group «External attractiveness, power, health - stupidity, dullness» presenting dialectics of existence of notions of beauty and ugliness in both comparable languages is done in this article. Data from historico-etymological and explanatory dictionaries are pointed in the work for the purpose of revealing universal and specific signs in the semantic of operative words of phraseological units reflecting dialectical unity of notions of external beauty and internal ugliness in German and Russian
