Hepatosis is widespread among imported dairy cattle in the Republic of Uzbekistan. One of the reasons for studying the pathology is overfeeding with protein as a result of uncontrolled introduction of cottonseed meal into the diet. During the dispensary examination, a significant percentage of liver damage in productive cows was revealed, which is a factor restraining milk productivity. Research has established that with hepatosis, the indices of protein metabolism are subject to serious changes. The combined use of hepalan and gabivita-Se made it possible to reduce the level of β- and γ-globulin proteins, as well as the enzymatic activity of the main transamination enzymes (AST, ALT), which by the end of the treatment contributed to the normalization of the functional state of the liver and the clinical status of cows sick with hepatosis. However, the obtained biochemical blood indices indicate that hepatosis requires an increase in the treatment period
