The state, trends and forecast of drug situation in member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO)

The article considers a comparative analysis of the main indicators of drug situation in Member States of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) on the basis of official statistics as well as the results of scientific (sociological and criminological) research; the main trends and short-term forecast of drug situation development in the region are defined; and the peculiarities of counteracting mechanism to drug addiction in the sphere of prevention and systematic approach to rehabilitation and re-socialization are found out.
