Improving civil circulation of cryptocurrency on the territory of the Russian Federation to ensure the security of society, individuals, and the state

In this work, the authors conducted a comprehensive study of the current domestic legislation in the field of cryptocurrency. During the study, it was found that in Russian law the normative beginning of regulation of this area was made back in 2018. However, as practice shows, certain issues still remain unresolved: there is no precise terminology, a process for regulating cryptocurrency, and so on. Based on the identified problems, the authors proposed possible solutions that will bring clarity to the regulation of digital assets, which will have a positive impact on creating safer conditions in the field of cryptocurrency circulation.
