The article analyzes the state of Informatization of the activities of local governments and considers the existing information and communication technologies. It is revealed that information technologies contribute to the effective interaction of municipal authorities and citizens, as well as improve the quality of management. Besides, the main directions of improvement of information technologies in municipal authorities are allocated.
