Improvement of ecology of the city in the process of revitalization coastal zone of the Volga river

The article is devoted to the issues of restoring former industrial coastal territories and improving the ecology of the city, for example, the revitalization of a cargo port in Volgograd. An analysis is made of the current state of the theory and practice of using former industrial zones in Russia and abroad. An experimental design was carried out, aimed at solving architectural and ecological issues of development and the formation of aesthetic appearance of the panorama of the city from the Volga River.
