Improving the legal culture of schoolchildren: the continuity of the content of the education of a high school

The introduction of specialized courses in law makes it possible for students to form a general idea of law and legal mechanisms, which are aimed at studying legal terminology, legal practice of the Russian Federation and foreign countries, and the ideology and concept of the law reform program in the Soviet and post-Soviet periods based on legal values (humanization, democratization, diversification, and informatization of society in the Russian Federation). The experiment conducted in the municipal educational institution “Lyceum No. 9 named after the Honored Teacher of the School of the Russian Federation A.N. Neverov, Dzerzhinsky District, Volgograd” showed that the implementation of all components of the learning process (goals, content, methods, results) is presented indirectly and unsystematically. The teaching of law is an innovation, which is not quite clear to many teachers of history and social science who are not familiar with the conceptual features of this project. A teacher of history and social studies should pay special attention to research activities in the specialized teaching of law since they characterize their teaching status and show their own level of creativity and pedagogical skill.
