Improving the techniques of the regional component of modern school historical education and their experimental implementation in history lessons in 10 classes

The article is devoted to the study of the problem of the introduction of the regional component of school historical education and the search for the most effective methods aimed at solving this problem. The article discusses the main components of the concept of "regional component", and also gives their characteristics. The article provides a detailed analysis of the experimental process for the implementation of the regional component in practice, specifically, several lessons conducted by the author in the 10th grade of secondary school №111 in Mineralnye Vody. This paper presents the most effective methods and techniques for using local history material both in history lessons and in extracurricular activities. The degree of effectiveness of these methods is confirmed by the results of the experiment.
