Need of deepening of psychological training of future teachers of arts and crafts and design locates in article from several positions and the short analysis of the contents and features of such preparation when studying a course for choice "Design psychology" in higher education institution is given. The approach stated in article allows to strengthen significantly in general a humanistic and culturological orientation of professional and pedagogical training of graduates of this profile.
