The article studies the possibilities of applying the advantages of virtual business environment and the principles of infocom management for improving management business processes of telecommunication companies. We have analyzed the dynamics of digital economy indicators for 2015-2018 and concluded that there is an increasing growth in demand for communication services. The following standard methods of scientific research were used in the article: statistical analysis, monographic method, matrix method of ranking business processes. We identified the main adverse trends in the development of the digital economy at the present stage. Based on the open data of the five largest companies in the telecommunications industry of the Russian Federation, the article revealed the features of improving their management business processes. As a result of the study, we proposed to use the relational model for transforming the management business processes of telecommunication companies, and the directions for its improvement.
