The modern practice of professionalizing the police and promoting its social mission in the "Knowledge center" of the UK police digital service

Purpose: the publication is devoted to the study of the social aspect of ensuring a higher level of professionalization of the personnel of the modern police, which contributes to the high-quality performance by each employee of this law enforcement agency of his function, by definition nominated as a function of social order. Based on the stated goal of considering individual fragments of the British model of promoting a new level of knowledge from the digital world into the police environment, the authors analyze the areas of work of the «Knowledge Center» of the police digital service, which is based on strategic planning documents in the field of digital transformation of the UK police, as well as the activities of research partnerships and specially held forums on innovation issues in police work.
