Modern sociology on the transformation of forms of employment in Russia and abroad

The paper explores the problems of organization and implementation of modern labor activity, namely, forms of employment. This issue is the most relevant in modern conditions of social and economic development of society. It is proved that a modern employee should have a whole set of professional and personal competencies, independently choose the vectors of one’s development and exercise self-control. Various theoretical approaches to the study of the transformation of forms of employment are presented. The possibilities of the concepts of L. Boltanski and E. Chiapello, M. Castells, A. Korsani and A. Gorz are revealed. Also, the methodological possibilities of studying various aspects of the problem, described in the works of Russian scientists, are analyzed. The author emphasizes that at the beginning of the XXI century the spread of new forms of employment is also accompanied by the spread of new values, which should give atypical work a special meaning for the further realization of personal opportunities.
