Modern theology and modern science: prospects for cooperation

The Aim of this article is to consider the problem of the relationship between modern theology and modern educational space. The uniqueness of the situation of theology in the Humanities, the methodology of theology as a system of knowledge, theological educational tools and other educational aspects of modern theology are considered in the article. A special place is occupied by the terminological definition of the role of theology in the system of modern cognition. The theological method of cognition is interpreted as a characteristic of a special image of reality, based on the recognition of the Divine creation as the basic principle of the world order and on the recognition of the direction of life in relation to the goals defined by the divine will.
