Modern treatment of the nonspecific vulvovaginitis

The aim of the study was to compare clinical effectiveness of nonspecific vulvovaginitis treatment by suppositories with metronidazol and myconazol nitrate and suppositories with chlorgexidin. The research was performed at the Ob&Gyn Department of the Siberian State Medical University. 29 women with nonspecific vulvovaginitis clinical symptoms were studied. Clinical effectiveness of treatment was estimated with the help of complains and anamnesis data, bimanual and mirror vaginal investigation three days and 1 month after the treatment. All patients were studied with vaginal smear microscopic investigation with Gram's stain, definition pH of vaginal discharge by indicators test-strips. The study showed that drugs with metronidazol and myconazol nitrate and drugs with chlorgexidin effectively eradicate local inflammation.
