Авторами статьи рассмотрены основные особенности развития нефтегазовой промышленности Исламской Республики Иран на современном этапе, а также исследованы вызовы и угрозы нефтегазового комплекса Ирана на фоне общемировых тенденций. Исламская республика Иран (ИРИ) играет значимую роль как поставщик углеводородных природных ископаемых, продуктов нефтехимии, а также как транзитер нефте- и газопродуктов. Однако по данным исследования под действием введенных в отношении Ирана финансово-экономических санкций наблюдалось банкротство производственных предприятий отрасли. После снятия санкций возникла новая проблема, связанная с формированием эффективного управления отраслью при относительно ограниченных финансовых ресурсах. В статье рассмотрены технические и финансовые возможности Ирана, динамика роста затрат, связанная с движением к мировому научно-технологическому уровню.
