The subject of the study is the current state, development dynamics and economic role of industrial parks in the Republic of Tatarstan as an element of regional industrial and investment infrastructure. The purpose of the paper is to assess the condition of the region’s industrial parks, identify the main trends in their development and determine their importance for industrial growth, investment attraction, production location and job creation. The methodology is based on systemic and comparative analytical approaches; the study applies statistical data analysis, generalization, comparison, dynamic analysis, tabular systematization and interpretation of socioeconomic indicators. The information base includes data on industrial production in the Republic of Tatarstan, the number of industrial parks, occupancy level, residents, jobs, production output and tax revenues. The study shows that in 2016–2025 the volume of shipped industrial products in the region increased from RUB 2009.0 billion to RUB 6035.6 billion, while the industrial production index reached 109.9% in 2025. In 2025, Tatarstan had 107 industrial parks with occupancy exceeding 80%; the number of residents exceeded 1.7 thousand, and the number of jobs reached 72.1 thousand. The economic effect is reflected in the output of residents of preferential territories of about RUB 1.5 trillion, their contribution of more than 9% to gross regional product, and tax revenues of RUB 166.2 billion. It is concluded that Tatarstan’s industrial parks operate as an effective mechanism of industrial policy, ensuring concentration of production, business development, employment growth and expansion of the region’s investment potential.
