Current state and trends of employment among the working population in the Russian Federation

This article examines the current state of employment among the working population in the Russian Federation and the primary trends shaping the labor market’s development. Factors influencing the level of employment in the country are analyzed, including differentiation across sectors, technological changes, wage levels, and working conditions. Issues such as low labor productivity, labor shortages, and matters concerning formal and informal employment are discussed. Particular attention is given to current trends, such as the digitization of the economy, increasing demand for professionals with digital skills, and changes in industry structure impacting labor supply and demand. The study aims to identify key directions for the development of the labor market in Russia and to provide recommendations for effective employment management and improving the quality of life for the working population.
