Modern condition and conditions of rational placement of wheat production

Currently, wheat production in the country is characterized by positive trends, but, despite the growth of its gross harvest, the low quality of grain reduces its competitiveness in the domestic and foreign markets. The paper analyzes the production parameters of wheat cultivation over the past decade. The dynamics of cultivated areas, gross yield, yield in federal districts and in the whole country have been studied. The specific weight of wheat in grain crops and grain production, the structure of crops and the production of spring and winter wheat, indicators of the efficiency of wheat production depending on its quality in the agricultural organizations of the country were calculated and analyzed. Depending on the natural and economic conditions, the main regions of the production of spring and winter wheat in the country are allocated. The conclusion is made about the effective production of wheat based on the creation of high-tech specialized zones of commodity production of strong, hard and valuable wheat varieties of grain.
