Modern hematological analyzers – opportunities and limitations

The article discusses new possibilities for the study of blood parameters using modern hematological analyzers. The data obtained on hematological analyzers help in the diagnostic search and the choice of treatment tactics. Modern hematology analyzers evaluate the known characteristics of blood cells and calculate new reticulocyte and platelet indices with high accuracy. The capabilities of the most commonly used automatic analyzers are evaluated in this lecture.
