Modern instrumental diagnosis methods of malignization of gastric ulcers and cancer in early stages

Data concerning diagnostic significance of modern methods which are useful for detecting gastric cancer and malignization of gastric ulcers in early stages such as magnifying endoscopy, confocal endomicroscopy, endoscopy with NBI and MBI systems, endosonography, positron emission tomography, computer tomography etc. are given in the article. Basic principles of their action are described. Only combined usage of the methods described is concluded to allow to detect malignization of gastric mucosa lesions in due time and to exactly stage the process course before the surgery.
