Modern methods of diagnosis and treatment results of patients with urolithiasis complicated by late-stage hydronephrosis

A total of 29 patients with urolithiasis complicated by late stages of hydronephrosis were examined. Modern methods allowed objectively estimate the structural - functional status of kidney and upper urinary tract of these patients. Essential feature to the successful use of new diagnostic and therapeutic technologies of the examined patients was the pre-drainage of the affected kidney. Reversible nature of uro - and hemodynamic changes are seen in 24 (82.7%) patients who underwent organ operational treatment with good results. Our experience demonstrates the high efficiency of modern methods of diagnosis and organ reconstruction - plastic methods of surgical treatment of patients with urolithiasis complicated by late stages of hydronephrosis and ureterohydronephrosis.
