Modern approaches to defining essence and specifics of additional higher vocational education

The article presents pedagogical approaches to the problem of formation and development of additional higher vocational training in Russia. Concepts of contemporary writers in defining the essence of additional vocational training are stated. Additional higher vocational training is defined as a pedagogical category.
