Modern approaches to the problem of increasing quality of food products

The article presents current approaches to solving the problem of increasing the quality of food products, and thus enhancing their competitiveness in the consumer market. It’s shown that voluntary certification as one of the modern forms certifying the product conformance to determined requirements allows us to solve this problem since it’s a major tool to ensure high quality and competitiveness of food products.
