This article discusses the concept and essence of staff motivation. Describes the modern theory of motivation and their features. In the framework of the study, the authors identified the problem of the modern personnel motivation system. Examples of the motivation systems used and the results of the analysis of the degree of satisfaction with the work of professionals in Russia are given.
