Current Cybersecurity Issues in Mongolia’s Border Services

The article studies the current state of telecommunications, information technology, and security in Mongolia’s border services, as well as its key statistical indicators. An analysis of the structure and personnel of the border services has revealed both advantages and shortcomings that affect the operational activities of these units. We have proposed some measures aimed at improving the cybersecurity in Mongolia’s border agencies. In conclusion, the article draws attention to the need to study the experience of foreign countries in the field of modern telecommunications, information technologies, and cybersecurity in the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Justice and Internal Affairs, and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Mongolia.
