Modern word formation processes in the aspect of cognitive semantics

The article deals with the word formation potential of the prefix “cyber-” in the context of the functional and semantic model. There is presented the analysis of the creation and functioning of the derivatives in the Russian and English discourses. The authors use the methods of the description, comparison and cognitive and semantic analysis.
