Modern controversies in the use of information resource and their impact on the economic security of the individual

The article deals with the actual problem of the influence of information resources on the current state of economic security of both the individual and Russia as a whole. The author put forward a scientific hypothesis that information inequality is an objectively existing phenomenon of modern society, which performs a number of constructive and destructive functions and has a direct impact on the economic security of the individual. The transition to the information society has changed the status of information resources. Information resource has the most significant impact on such areas of society as security and health, education, science, culture, economy, socio-political sphere, quality of life.
