Modern social technologies for implementing youth policy as a tool of political socialization

The article examines the state of State Youth Policy (SYP) in modern Russia in the context of its influence on the nature of political socialization of the younger generation. From the standpoint of structural-functional approach the authors define political socialization as a function of the political system responsible for the transmission of political norms and values that ensure support and sustainability of political development. The State Youth Policy is considered as a mechanism for managing socialization processes that activate the social and political potential of Russian youth. It is shown that currently there is a well-developed value and normative basis and a stable organizational structure within the framework of the State Youth Policy (SYP), but the main task of translating youth policy into practical actions is to select effective social technologies. Educational, research, legislative information and organizational technologies are outlined in relation to the successful implementation of the SYP. Particular attention is paid to the technology of organizing forum campaigns.
