Modern technologies of sports and patriotic education in children and adolescents

The article aims to investigate the role of military sports schools in the physical and moral development of the younger generation, health and responsibility promotion, patriotism and social adaptation. Materials and methods. The study was based on the experience of military sports schools for children and adolescents in Chelyabinsk. The following methods were used during the study: observation, survey, analysis and synthesis. Results. Research results demonstrated the importance of combining sports training and moral education for the personal development of children. Training technologies in Chelyabinsk military sports schools are constantly being improved with respect to the ongoing changes and the existing competition between schools. Training in military sports schools contributes to the formation of healthy lifestyle skills, moral enhancement, social participation and interpersonal communication (parents and other family members are often involved in school events). Conclusion. The significance of military sports schools is confirmed by the fact that half of the surveyed children would like to apply the acquired knowledge and skills in their future activities. Others noted the importance of physical training, broadening their horizons, gaining self-confidence and finding friends.
