The article defines the current trends in juvenile delinquency in the Russian Federation and Mongolia. Despite a certain decrease in the level of juvenile delinquency in the border states, there are a number of trends that cause concern of law enforcement agencies and the public. For a rather-legal analysis of the crime state in Russia and Mongolia, we used both general scientific and special methods. As a result of the analysis of data on juvenile crime in neighboring states, comparison of law enforcement activity and the established practice in applying the law, as well as the scientific legal literature, we have revealed a commonality in a number of positive and negative trends in juvenile delinquency in these countries. Summing up, it should be noted that a rather-legal analysis of juvenile delinquency in the Russian Federation and Mongolia will make it possible to see the potential for mutual use of the positive experience of neighboring states.
