Current trends in lexical borrowings of the Russian language

The article analyzes the priorities of the modern Russia language in the sphere of the lexical borrowings from foreign languages. Here it is proved that together with the general prevalence of Anglo-American neologisms in a number of spheres of social and cultural life as before, borrowings from Spanish, Japanese, French and other languages have started to actively penetrate into the Russian language, sometimes pushing aside recent English vocabulary acquisitions.
