Modern trends in property crimes: analysis of judicial practice and legislative changes

This article considers current trends in property crime, analyses changes in the legal framework and judicial practice, and examines the impact of digital technologies on the methods of committing crimes. Special attention is paid to the problems of qualification and prevention of these offences. The relevance and legislative initiatives aimed at countering crimes related to the misuse of digital assets, fraud and financial fraud are analysed. An analysis of judicial practice demonstrating the existing problems of differentiating between the various elements of offences and emerging law enforcement difficulties is presented. The paper emphasises the need for further improvement of the legal framework, the development of preventive measures, as well as the intensification of international cooperation in combating crimes in the digital environment.
