Require the preparation of new textbooks for universities ofculture and arts teaching-methodical support ofthe state standards ofhigher education ofthe third generation. To the content ofthe textbook presented a number of requirements: problem statement and consistency of the content, the compliance with the optimal balance between scientific and availability, and the like. The content of the textbook should correspond to the systematics of specific science, in our case study of folklore. Folklore - developing science. Nowadays find it extremely intensively develop secondary forms of traditional folklore that should be studied. This is primarily urban folklore or the so-called urban primitive. Meanwhile, existing textbooks often ignore this important reservoir in the development of modern folklore, entirely focusing on the traditional folklore. The lack or insufficient development of the considered section in the system of teaching inflicts serious damage on the formation of the students holistic, system views about the real process of folk art.
