Modern cinema as a way of influencing public consciousness in relation to certain criminological phenomena

The article examines the influence of cinema on public opinion. Cult films and TV series from various times of the 20th and 21st centuries are analyzed. Based on the analysis of the topics covered, as well as the surrounding environment of that time, conclusions are drawn about the influence of cinema on public opinion regarding certain criminological phenomena: crime, romanticization of banditry, legalization of the right to murder, etc.
