The article is devoted to the screen image of a female detective that arose in the domestic serial production of the last two decades. The paper analyzes the origins of this image on the domestic screen, the nature of this image, its main features, typology, differences from Western models, from which it is often created. As examples, the characters of the series are analyzed: «The investigation is conducted by an am-ateur», based on the work of D. Dontsova), «Kamenskaya» (based on the works of A. Marinina), «Snoop» (adaptation of the American television series The Closer), «Cipher» (adaptation of the English mini series «Murder Code»). At the end of the article, the author formulates conclusions regarding the nature of the emerging stable screen image of a female detective in the domestic series. These images reinforce a number of features that were not previously fundamental to female characters. Describing this modern female screen image, the author notes that despite its apparent similarity with the declared feminist images, it has certain distinctive features. In general, this character does not carry a message (as often happens in Western series) associated with some kind of alternative lifestyle. The modern female image is formed on the basis of not the exclusion of traditionalism, but an attempt to combine and combine it with feminist discourse.
