This article is dedicated to one of the most promising and important areas of the development of state regulation as the improving of the institute of regulatory impact assessment. The article is discussed the ways to improve the institute of regulatory impact assessment; the analysis of problems and objectives of state regulation, the identification of possible options to achieve results as well as an assessment connected with the positive and negative effects in order to select the most effective option in accordance with the special fixed procedures.
