Спасение и проклятие на Лампедузе. Критический анализ политики психического здоровья в Италии в отношении мигрантов из Африки

Более 40 000 людей ежегодно прибывают в Италию через Сицилийское море, делая нашу страну своего рода входной дверью в Европу из Африки. Несмотря на это, психическое здоровье иммигрантов - беженцев в Италии далеко от включения в национальную политику, и культуральная компетентность в медицинских службах обычно недостаточно представлена. С другой стороны, в Италии много пишут и обсуждают социально-культурные последствия миграционной политики, причем средства информации представляют драматический сценарий угрожающих жизни событий, происходящих в Сицилийском море. Политические дебаты делят всю страну на 2 группы: тех, кто воспринимает миграцию из Африки как своего рода вторжение, с которым нужно бороться, и тех, кто не может не помочь в спасении и размещении людей, находящихся в состоянии опасности и отчаяния, даже когда приюты претерпевают коллапс. Авторы дают критический анализ миграционной динамики из Африки в Италию и обсуждают ее последствия с точки зрения антропологии, социологии и клиники, представляя исторический анализ служб, их противоречия в обеспечении психического здоровья в связи с социально-культурной амбивалентностью в отношении к миграции в Италии
