Domestic and foreign specialists in sports wrestling attach increasing significance to development of explosive strength when training highly skilled Greco-Roman style wrestlers. The problem is that there is no consensus concerning, on the one hand, dispensing of power loadings, and with another, - applications of means and methods of development of explosive strength in a one- year training process of highly skilled wrestlers. The objective of the research is to reveal influence of intensive weight training of explosive character when performing special exercise of the wrestler on nature of bioelectric activity of muscles of highly skilled wrestlers and weightlifters. The study involved 11 wrestlers of the Olympic Reserve School of the city of Krasnodar (Masters of Sports and Masters of Sports of International Class) and 9 weightlifters of Children's and Youth Sports School named after V. N. Machuga (village Pereyaslovskaya of Krasnodar Krai) as the control group. The training technique with performance of static-dynamic exercise with weight, equal 50, 70 and 90% from the maximum pull is offered. During performance of these loadings by means of a miomonitor bioelectric activity of the quadriceps muscle of thigh and the broadest muscle of back was registered. Efficiency of application of a technique of performance of special exercise of the wrestler with weights of 50, 70 and 90% from maximum modeling physical actions in parterre is proved: the 1st phase - pull of a barbell from a platform to knees, the 2nd phase - its holding in a static pose within five seconds and the 3rd phase - top full before full straightening of a trunk and feet in a knee joint.
