Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine: philosophical and cultural analysis

The relevance of this issue is determined by a complex of factors that define the place and role of our Special Military Operation (SMO) as a momentous phenomenon not only for Russia but also for the world order. research of the topic was carried out in the works of V.E. Bagdasaryan, A.A. Bartosh, A.M. Ilnitsky, and Ya.I. Streletsky. However, the analysis presented in this article is original in its titled aspect. The aim of the study is to conduct a systematic analysis of the philosophical and cultural aspects of the SMO and to substantiate its objective necessity and justification. The methodological basis of the work comprises tools from world-systems and structural-functional analyses, as well as principles derived from historical and dialectical approaches. As a result of the research, the ontological, anthropological, and legal discourses related to the philosophical aspect of the SMO have been identified and analyzed, alongside the ethnic, artistic, and religious discourses pertaining to its cultural aspect. A number of measures to counteract the information war unleashed by the West against our country are proposed. The achieved results fill the cognitive arsenal of the theoretical understanding of the SMO and hold specific practical significance for mobilizing the spiritual resources of our society, as well as for the patriotic education of Russian youth, particularly in the military context.
