Use of regional studies material at literature lessons studying L. N. Tolstoy's life and works

The article considers the ways of organizing the language teacher and pupils’ activity studying L.N.Tolstoy's life and works. The author generalises work experience of language and literature teachers from Kurmanaevsky district of Orenburg region, offers fragments of regional studies lessons developed during the experiment.
