The specificity of the trade and economic treaty translation: cognitive aspect (based on the treaty of Asunci'on on the establishing of MERCOSUR)

This article is devoted to the translation of an international treaty based on the cognitivediscursive approach. The article deals with the basic principles of the execution of international treaties. We have attempted to create a cognitive model of the Russian and Spanish documents of international law. The study relevance of the ways of representing the concepts TRATADO INTERNACIONAL and МЕЖДУНАРОДНЫЙ ДОГОВОР is due to the use of a cognitive-discursive approach aimed at studying the mechanisms of human mind. This article studies diplomatic discourse as a linguo-cognitive activity in the international law by referring to the internal organization of the concept. The novelty of the research lies in the cognitive approach to the translation of the text of diplomatic discourse due to the appeal to the conceptual schemes of the source text and the translation. The modeling of the integral frame allows to identify the similarities of the lexical components that verbalize these concepts, as well as their differences, which represent translation problems. Their solutions include referring to additional lexicographic sources (dictionaries, provisions of international conventions, etc.).
