The specificity of the election speech translation

This work is devoted to the analysis of pre-election speeches from French into Russian. As part of the study, the concepts of political discourse, pragmatics of translation and pre-election discourse were considered, their features and functions were listed. Features, strategies and methods of translation of election speeches were identified. The dominants of the translation are identified, which the translator should pay attention to in the process of transmitting the text.
