Relevance. Currently, of all the trends of religious and political extremism, Islamism poses the greatest danger to society and the state, which, of course, does not exclude the existence of radical and extremist religious and political communities of Orthodox, neo-Pagan and other pseudo-religious orientation. The relevance of the research topic is also conditioned by the need to ensure one of the most important aspects of the activities of law enforcement officers in the framework of countering extremism, which is expressed, inter alia, in the timely detection and suppression of extremist propaganda.
