The paper is devoted to the study of a complex literary phenomenon of rhythmic organization of M. Tsvetaeva’s prose. This study of the prose rhythm of the poet we believe to be necessary, while this aspect of text organization reflects the stylistic dominant of the writer’s creativity, predetermined by the phenomenon of literary bilingualism. The matter for the study is autobiographical prose of M. Tsvetaeva. Our rhythm analysis is executed through the multi-level text analysis technique. Special attention in the paper is paid to the specific level of organization of the prose rhythm, which we name plot-compositional structure. We tell main rhythm-forming elements accentuated at this level: the particularity of plot construction, the compositional specification of the text, the repetitions system. The paper defines their function in shaping the concept of the work. The rhythm of the inner composition of M. Tsvetaeva’s prose is manifested in the plot and compositional features of her work, based on the rapid change of the event plan, the fragmentary narrative, the complexity of the associative connection between the parts and the headings of the works. The rhythmic structure of the texts constructed through such principles is marked by special dynamism, swift development of the plot and coupling of parts. The level of the plot and compositional organization of the poet’s prose turns out to be in close interaction with other structural levels of her work, accentuated and complemented by the achievements of the lexical, syntactic, phonetic and visual levels of the text
