Specificity of temporary importation of vehicles from the territory of Abkhazia and features of operation of vehicles with foreign registration

This article discusses the issues of temporary import into the territory of the Russian Federation of used vehicles from the territory of Abkhazia, as well as the specifics of registration of a vehicle for a citizen of Abkhazia, when a citizen of the Russian Federation actually owns a car on the territory of Russia. The author considered the customs legislation regulating the issues of temporary import, and also revealed the actual advantages and disadvantages when purchasing a vehicle that is registered on the territory of Abkhazia.
