A spectrophotometric method has been proposed for determination of vitamins B1, B6, and B12 in pharmaceutical formulations. The method does not require complex sample preparation and can be used for rapid analysis of both solid and liquid pharmaceutical preparations. It allows for the simultaneous determination of each of these vitamins simultaneously without prior separation over a wide concentration range (2∙10⁻5 mol/L and higher) with an error of no more than 10 %. The essence of the method lies in the dissolution of the determined components in 0.1 mol/L HCl and processing the absorption spectra of the resulting solutions using the multiple linear regression method. To determine low levels of B12, it is proposed to use preliminary homophase concentration. The method has been applied for determination of vitamins B1, B6, and B12 in the preparations Milgamma, Combibipen, and Pentovit.
