Sports spirituality as a subject theological and philosophical consideration

In this article, the author systematizes the previously identified problem that is the question of spirituality in sports and physical culture. The author considers the role of religious faith in physical culture, applies philosophical justifications of this phenomenon. The author also defines the concept of sports spirituality, deduces its scope and content, analyzes the component of sacredness and its influence on the processes of personal and social development. At the end of the article, there are conclusions about sports spirituality as a full-fledged field of scientific knowledge with its conceptual apparatus, subject, object, and methodology of research.
