Walking as a physical exercise is basic and most natural for a person. Despite the seeming simplicity, the rational technique of performing the exercise requires significant efforts to formulate it, correct it (since the skill has already been formed and brought to automatism). In student years, it is quite possible to solve this problem. The relevance of the work is also caused by the need to conduct physical education classes in the fresh air, during the period of large-scale practice of restrictions due to the spread of coronavirus infection. It is important to note that using race walking as a means of physical culture in training sessions, one can significantly increase the level of general and special endurance of those involved, improve the adaptive capabilities of the body and the psycho-emotional state of students.
